Andrew Bone has been a technical writer and translator for 25 years, and translates from German and Italian into English. He has translated EIAs, environmental audits, ISO 14000 and EMAS certificates and reports, LCA (Life Cycle Assessments), and other technical documents, in fields from ecology to construction, asbestos abatement to hazardous goods transport.

The Swiss Federal Office for the Environment (BAFU in German): a broad range of documents, including for the .admin website, online pollutant registry, and environmental management, pollution control, recycling and hazardous goods transport and disposal.
Transalpine Language Services was the official translation office for the AlpTransit Media Office during the project planning phase: media information, brochures, website, technical documents, EIA, recycling, aggregate usage assessment report.

Andrew Bone has also taught science in high schools for 7 years, most recently an IB course 'Environmental Systems and Society' at TASIS, The American School in Switzerland, Montagnola, Ticino (2012-13).
